Zendaya brings back her ‘The Odyssey’ look at Louis Vuitton’s Paris Fashion Week show, but with a whole new mood
Zendaya has done it again. And this time, she’s proving that repeating an outfit doesn’t mean repeating the same look. The actor arrived at Nicolas Ghesquière’s Louis Vuitton Spring/Summer 2027 showcase during Paris Fashion Week in a familiar piece from her recent The Odyssey press tour. But instead of wearing it the way we’d seen it before, Zendaya and stylist Law Roach gave the look a much more relaxed spin. She wore a white lace bolero jacket with dramatic ruffles around the neckline and cuffs. Underneath, she kept things simple with a plain white tank top and straight-leg jeans, finishing the look with her signature pointed pumps.

And that jacket is hard to miss.Designed by Ghesquière, the cropped piece came in delicate white floral lace, with wide layers of ruffles spilling across the front and cuffs. It had plenty of drama, but Zendaya’s casual styling kept it from feeling too dressed up.She added two diamond-encrusted statement rings and diamond studs, while her cropped hair, feathered brows, mascara-coated lashes and glossy pink lips kept the beauty look clean and fresh.
Wait, haven’t we seen that jacket before?
Yes, we have.Zendaya first wore the ruffled lace bolero in July while promoting The Odyssey in Paris. Back then, she paired the jacket with a white lace gown for the film’s premiere, giving it a far more formal, red-carpet feel.At Louis Vuitton, the same jacket looked completely different. The gown was gone. In its place came jeans and a tank top, making the statement jacket the star of the outfit without trying too hard. It was a clever reminder that a great designer piece doesn’t have to be worn only once, or even in the same way twice. And Zendaya is clearly comfortable with that idea.
Zendaya isn’t afraid to repeat a look
This isn’t the first time the actor has brought an old designer piece back into the spotlight.During The Drama press tour, Zendaya revived an ivory Vivienne Westwood gown that she had originally worn to the 2015 Oscars. Rather than treating outfit repeating as something to hide, she and Roach have repeatedly shown how much fun there can be in reworking pieces. That’s part of what makes Zendaya’s fashion choices so interesting. The clothes may come from major fashion houses, but the styling doesn’t always follow the obvious route. This time, a lace bolero that once belonged to a glamorous premiere look became part of a much more laid-back Paris Fashion Week outfit.
Fans loved Zendaya’s outfit repeat
Social media was quick to notice the repeat, and fans had plenty to say about the new styling.

“Her next outfit is always the best,” one Instagram user wrote.Another commented, “Repeating PIECES. We LOVE that.”“Ruffles, confidence and style. She is never not looking stunning,” another fan said.
Louis Vuitton closes Paris Fashion Week
Zendaya’s appearance came as Louis Vuitton brought Paris Fashion Week to a close with Ghesquière’s Spring/Summer 2027 collection. The showcase drew a star-studded crowd, with several Louis Vuitton ambassadors and familiar fashion-week faces turning up for the show.Among those in attendance were Saoirse Ronan, Emma Stone, BLACKPINK’s Lisa, Law Roach, Ana de Armas and Stray Kids’ Felix.
- But Zendaya had her own fashion-week talking point. By bringing back a jacket from The Odyssey and styling it with jeans and a simple tank, she once again made a case for wearing great fashion more than once, just differently.
