UGC NET June 2026 application correction window closes tomorrow at ugcnet.nta.nic.in: Check direct link, list of editable fields
The National Testing Agency (NTA) will close the application correction window for the University Grants Commission National Eligibility Test (UGC NET) June 2026 examination tomorrow, May 28, at 11:50 PM. Candidates who want to make changes to their application forms can visit the official website, ugcnet.nta.nic.in, and edit their details before the deadline.The correction facility has been provided for candidates applying for the posts of Assistant Professor, admission to Doctor of Philosophy (PhD), and admission to PhD only in Indian universities and colleges.According to the official notice, candidates can make corrections in their online application form from May 26 to May 28, 2026. UGC NET June 2026 : Fields that cannot be changed
Candidates will not be allowed to edit the following details:
- Mobile number
- Email address
- Permanent and present address
- Uploaded photograph
- Uploaded signature
UGC NET June 2026: Editable fields
Candidates can make changes in the following details:
- Candidate name
- Father’s name
- Mother’s name
- Examination city selection
- Date of birth
- Gender
- Category
- Sub-category or Persons with Benchmark Disabilities (PwBD) status, if not verified through the Unique Disability ID (UDID) portal
- Subject selected for the examination
NTA has also informed candidates that the option to edit the examination subject will remain available till the end of the correction period.
UGC NET June 2026 correction process: Important details
Candidates can make corrections only once.
