Royal Enfield Classic 350 Gorkha Edition: What’s new, price and more

Royal Enfield has introduced a special Gorkha Edition of the Classic 350 in India. Priced at Rs 2,10,684 (ex-showroom), the new version gets exclusive styling changes while retaining the same mechanical package as the standard motorcycle.The Classic 350 Gorkha Edition is finished in a distinctive Gorkha Green shade, giving it a unique appearance compared to the regular versions. It also gets bespoke insignia featuring the iconic crossed Khukris on the side panels.Royal Enfield says the motorcycle has been created as a tribute to the courage, discipline and resilience associated with the Gorkha fraternity. The company describes the edition as a mark of honour and admiration for the respected military regiments.There are no changes to the engine or gearbox. The Classic 350 Gorkha Edition continues to use the familiar 349cc, single-cylinder J-series petrol engine. It develops 20 hp and 27 Nm of peak torque and is paired with a 5-speed gearbox.The motorcycle also comes equipped with an Assist & Slipper clutch, which is aimed at making gear shifts smoother while reducing the effort required at the clutch lever. A USB Type-C fast charging port is also part of the equipment list.With the Gorkha Edition, Royal Enfield has primarily focused on giving the Classic 350 a distinctive identity through its special colour and commemorative detailing. The rest of the motorcycle’s mechanical package remains unchanged.The Royal Enfield Classic 350 Gorkha Edition is priced at Rs 2,10,684, ex-showroom, placing it among the premium variants of the Classic 350 range.
