The applications will be processed online and verified by the revenue department. The certificates will be issued directly through the students’ schools, sparing parents and students the inconvenience of visiting govt offices. The certificates issued will feature an embedded QR code, allowing educational institutions and employers to instantly verify authenticity and curb fake certificates. The e-certificates issued can be securely stored and retrieved using the DigiLocker platform for digital access whenever required. The digital platform was developed with technical support from the National Informatics Centre (NIC) to ensure faster, simpler, and hassle-free access for citizens. The primary objective of the portal is to eliminate the need for the public to visit revenue offices in person to obtain crucial certificates required for education, employment, and govt welfare schemes.Citizens can also apply online from home for a range of essential administrative services. They can register requests from any location. They can monitor application progress online and receive real-time updates via SMS and email.
