PLI: Electronics firms got Rs 19k cr
Electronics manufacturers receive Rs 19,091 crore under PLI scheme till June
New Delhi: Large-scale electronics manufacturing PLI beneficiaries have received the highest incentives of Rs 19,091 crore under the scheme till June, while the sector has attracted investments of Rs 20,580 crore. Govt launched the PLI schemes in 2020 for 14 sectors, including electronics and pharmaceuticals, with an approved outlay of Rs 1.9 lakh crore, to enhance manufacturing capabilities, attract investment, promote exports, generate employment and reduce imports.
