NEET PG city slip 2026: The National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences (NBEMS) is scheduled to release the NEET PG 2026 city intimation slip on August 11, 2026. Examination pattern and centre networkA record 2,73,183 candidates have registered for NEET PG 2026, marking a 12.5% increase over the previous year. The examination will be conducted across 340 cities at more than 1,300 specialised test centres.The question paper has been reduced by 10%, from 200 to 180 multiple-choice questions. The maximum marks have fallen from 800 to 720. Candidates will answer five mandatory, time-locked sections, each containing 36 questions and allowing 42 minutes. Government institutes account for 42,936 seats, or 49.7%, while private and deemed institutions account for 43,424, or 50.3%. The NMC sanctioned 9,084 new PG seats during the 2025-26 cycle, while Phase-III of the Central Government expansion scheme will add 5,000 more seats.Karnataka has 10,092 seats, Maharashtra 9,216, Tamil Nadu 8,023, Uttar Pradesh 7,437 and Telangana 5,248.
