Kuzhalnadan proposes UDF discussion on forming Muvattupuzha district | Kochi News
Kochi: Muvattupuzha MLA Mathew Kuzhalnadan has said that UDF would discuss the matter of forming Muvattupuzha district and he would take it forward to the next level.Kuzhalnadan said he would work to bring a consensus on the new district formation and would try to make it the policy decision of UDF. He said there are demands to form new districts from other parts of the state and such demands are genuine ones. They also need to be considered.The demands for new districts are for bringing development to those areas. To bring a political consensus is a challenge for the formation of new districts for further development of Keralam, he said.There are long-standing demands for forming new districts in Malappuram, Thrissur and other parts of Keralam.
