IRCTC announces two tour packages from Gorakhpur | Lucknow News
Lucknow: The Indian Railway Catering and Tourism Corporation (IRCTC) has announced two Bharat Gaurav tourist train packages from Gorakhpur, offering pilgrims and tourists an opportunity to visit major religious and heritage destinations across western and southern India.The first package, scheduled from Aug 17 to Aug 26, is a nine-night, 10-day tour covering four Jyotirlingas. The itinerary includes Mahakaleshwar, Omkareshwar, Nageshwar and Somnath Jyotirlingas, along with Dwarkadhish Temple, Bet Dwarka and the Statue of Unity in Gujarat. The train will allow boarding and deboarding at Gorakhpur, Mankapur, Ayodhya Cantonment, Sultanpur, Pratapgarh, Prayagraj, Rae Bareli, Lucknow, Kanpur Central, Orai, Jhansi and Lalitpur.The second package, from July 31 to Aug 11, is an 11-night, 12-day South India pilgrimage covering Tirupati Balaji, Rameswaram, Meenakshi Temple in Madurai, Kanyakumari and Mallikarjuna Jyotirlinga.Both packages include travel in sleeper, 3 AC and 2 AC classes, vegetarian meals, and local sightseeing by bus. The Jyotirlinga tour is priced from Rs 18,380, while the South India package starts at Rs 23,560 per person.Leave Travel Concession and easy monthly installment facilities are also available.
