They are sitting here in the first row.” Archana took it in stride, recalling that she had actually warned her sons about the risk of sitting up front. “I told you beforehand that don’t sit in the front row, because this is not how you get fame, this is how you get insulted.“

Archana pushed back, insisting it’s harder than it looks. “That’s the toughest work,” she said. Sensing an opening, Samay immediately followed up by asking whether laughing at Kapil Sharma’s jokes specifically was a challenge. Without missing a beat, Archana replied, “Yes” — only to quickly realise she’d walked straight into the joke. “I fell right into that one,” she admitted with good humour.

Orry, also present on the panel, became the target of some good-natured ribbing when he mentioned travelling from London for the show. Archana wasn’t buying it, joking, “Yeh bas busy feel karwane ke liye bolta hai main London se aaya; Dahisar se aata hai aur bolta hai London se aaya hu” (He just says he came from London to make himself feel busy; he comes from Dahisar and says he came from London). When Orry turned the question back on her, asking if she’d ever been to London, Archana had a quick comeback ready. “No, never. Not the London you’ve been to.”
