The v41.30 update has introduced yet another brand-new Sprite variant to Fortnite Chapter 7 Season 3 Runners, and this one comes with a mechanic that is unlike anything currently in the Sprite system. Quack Sprites were added to Battle Royale on July 30, 2026, and they are built on the premise of friendship and sharing.At the time of writing, you can only get these Sprite through Mastery, making them a bit difficult to acquire for those who aren’t proper Sprite collectors. The following section takes a look at all the Quack Sprite variants in Fortnite, what they do, and how to unlock them.
What are Quack Sprites in Fortnite?
Quack Sprites are the newest Sprite variant that have been added after the recent Fortnite v41.30. At present, Epic Games has introduced a total of four Quack Sprites. They are not as common and have limited availability as compared to the other variants like the Gold or Holofoil Sprites.Here’s a list of Quack Sprites that are currently available:

What do Quack Sprites do in Fortnite?
When Quack Sprites gain XP, every other Sprite in your match inventory also gains 50% of that XP. This is a genuinely unique mechanic that no other Sprite variant currently offers in Fortnite.As a result of having these Sprites, you will be able to accelerate the progression of every other Sprite you are carrying in that match. This makes them an exceptionally valuable tool for those who are actively working to max out multiple Sprites per session.The shared XP benefit scales with however many Sprites you have equipped, meaning it rewards players who maintain a full and varied Sprite loadout throughout a match.
How to get Quack Sprites in Fortnite
This is where Quack Sprites differ significantly from every other Sprite type currently in the game. You will be able to only get your hands on the Quack Sprites by levelling up your Sprite Mastery.The first one is unlocked at 35, with the others unlocking subsequently at other levels:

Can you find Quack Sprites in Chests?
At the moment, it is not yet confirmed whether Quack Sprites will be obtainable via Sprite Chests later this season. For now, Sprite Mastery is the only way to get them in Fortnite. Ironically, due to them being locked to Sprite Mastery, this makes them some of the rarest Sprites in Fortnite.For now, the most reliable path to building your Quack Sprite collection is to grind Sprite Mastery levels, extracting Sprites as frequently as possible, attending Power Hours for boosted extraction rewards, and using Portable Extractors when you are too far from an Extraction Site.This was all you needed to know about the newly released Quack Sprites in Fortnite.
