Aman Sharma opens up on finding honesty in every scene for Oh Humnava Tum Dena Saath Mera
Actor Aman Sharma, who is currently seen as Mohit Bhardwaj in Oh Humnava Tum Dena Saath Mera, has been winning appreciation for his natural performance. The actor says the role has challenged him and helped him grow by exploring new aspects of his craft.Opening up about the biggest challenge of playing Mohit, he says: “The biggest challenge for me was making the character feel real, not just ‘performed.’ Anyone can say the lines and hit the marks, but that’s not enough. For me, every scene had to come from an honest place. I kept asking myself—why is this person doing this? What are they feeling right before they speak? What’s going on in their head that’s not written on paper? So I spent time digging beyond the script, finding those little motivations and silences that make someone human.“He continued, “Some days it was exhausting, because you can’t fake it. The camera catches it immediately. But that’s also the part of acting I enjoy the most. It pushes you. It forces you to grow, to be vulnerable, to look at yourself too. When it finally clicks and the character starts breathing on their own, that feeling is worth all the work.”Life on a daily soap set is hectic, so unwinding becomes important. Sharing how he switches off after pack-up, Aman says: “Honestly, after a hectic shoot day I turn into a professional at doing absolutely nothing. The first thing I do is get into comfy clothes and just breathe. I’ll order my favourite food, put on something light to watch, or just play music in the background. Most of the time I just want to be around people who make me laugh—friends, family, anyone who keeps it real. I think the best way to recharge is to switch your brain off for a bit. No overthinking, no pressure. Just food, laughter, and letting the day melt away.”Aman is known for his role in Suman Indori and Rishto Se Bandhi Gauri.
