Congress gotta beat BJP to even be king of opposition
Elections in Assam, TN, Kerala and WB might, finally, help resolve national opposition’s core dilemma. Will INDIA bloc evolve into a jointly led ‘coalition of equals’, or into a Congress-led front, as ‘first among equals’? Until this is resolved, opposition will likely remain in limbo, or “on life support”, as J&K CM Omar Abdullah put it.
