Mumbai: Ayush Badoni and Priyansh Arya will be part of India A squad for the T20 World Cup warm-up games. Both the batters were released from Delhi’s Ranji Trophy squad after getting selected for the India A team that will play warm-up games against the senior side ahead of the T20 World Cup.Ayush Doseja will lead Delhi against Mumbai in their last league match of the premier First Class tournament, which will begin from Thursday at the Mumbai Cricket Association’s ground in BKC.
India A will play USA in their first warm-up match, at the DY Patil Stadium in Navi Mumbai on Feb 2, and then Namibia in the second match on Feb 6 at the BCCI’s Centre of Excellence in Bengaluru.Badoni recently received his maiden India Call-up when he replaced an injured Washington Sundar in the Indian team for the ODI series against New Zealand. He didn’t get to play a game, though.
