GOI-CJP talks are expected to resume today, after a two-hour meeting on Friday. CJP crossed an important threshold this past week, when what began as social media satire turned into street protests. A scattered set of grievances – paper leaks, cancelled exams, recruitment delays, and unemployment – assumed a shared agenda. As protests continue in several cities across India, govt has promised action against paper leaks via fast-track courts, and a new bill on penalties for exam leak gangs is on the anvil.
