The battle for the March box office has intensified as Ranveer Singh’s highly anticipated sequel, ‘Dhurandhar: The Revenge’, officially lands a new heavyweight challenger. In a strategic move following the postponement of Yash’s ‘Toxic: A Fairy Tale for Grown-Ups’, the makers of Pawan Kalyan starrer ‘Ustaad Bhagat Singh’ have preponed their release to March 19, 2026, setting up a massive North-vs-South clash.

Sharing the news on their social media handle, the makers wrote, “ఈ ఉగాదికి ఉస్తాద్ ఊచకోత. (This Ugadi, Ustaad will go on a rampage.) Our USTAAD arrives a week early to spark Massive celebrations at the box office. #UstaadBhagatSingh GRAND RELEASE WORLDWIDE ON 19th MARCH, 2026.”

Yash’s ‘Toxic’ release pushed to June 4
Earlier, Yash’s ‘Toxic’ and ‘Dhurandhar 2’ were set to be released on the same date, March 19 and Pawan Kalyan’s film on March 26. However, ‘Toxic’ postponed its release, citing that the film is being pushed due to the tensions in the Middle East. It seems the makers of the Telugu film, with Yash’s film postponed, decided to take that window to directly clash with Aditya Dhar’s directorial.
About ‘Ustaad Bhagat Singh’
Speaking of ‘Ustaad Bhagat Singh’, the film is a cop action drama directed by Harish Shankar. The duo is returning after their successful outing, ‘Gabbar Singh’. The movie also features Sreeleela and Raashii Khanna as the female leads. The supporting cast includes Parthiban, Ashutosh Rana, Gautami, Naga Mahesh, Temper Vamsi, and others. The music for the film is composed by Devi Sri Prasad.
