Dion Dawkins shared a post on X claiming he booked first-class JetBlue tickets for his family to travel from Los Angeles to Fort Lauderdale, but the airline employees stole his fiancée Daiyaana Muhammad’s jewelry and Rolex watches from her bag. The Buffalo Bills left tackle’s post read: “#JetBlue makes no sense for security. I spent 10k to give my family an experience and put them all on first class @JetBlue Mint from LA to Fort Lauderdale And employees steal my fiances Jewlery out of her bag. Rolex Watches.”

JetBlue sends a reply to Buffalo Bills left tackle Dion Dawkins regarding the alleged theft

JetBlue replied to Dawkins’ post, saying, “Hi, there. We’d like to take a closer look at this with you. Please send us a DM with the reservation information.”The Daily Mail’s Oliver Salt also shared the X post in their story and reached out to JetBlue for comment. The exclusive, high-priced “Mint” class tickets offer privacy, personalized attention, and enhanced protective measures. However, when Dawkins’ fiancée arrived in Florida, she discovered that Rolex watches and several items of jewelry were missing from her luggage.

Airline theft, losing $100K jewelry mid air

The five-time Pro Bowler’s post received little traction at 65K, but when sports media personality Dov Kleiman shared the news, it quickly gained attention and reached 825K.Over 300 people shared their views, including one who wrote, “This is why people are losing faith in major airlines – spending $10k on a flight just to get robbed is peak 2026. Fun fact: airline theft has spiked recently, but losing multiple Rolexes in Mint class is a whole new level of security failure. @JetBlue, do better and get this man his fiancée’s property back before the Shnowman loses his cool entirely.”Another said, “This is absolutely unacceptable. Spending that much for a premium experience only to have your personal belongings stolen is a total nightmare. Hope you get justice!”A third user elaborated, “Imagine dropping $10k to give your family a first-class Mint experience, expecting comfort, privacy, and peace of mind… and instead it turns into a crime scene in the sky. Losing over $100k in jewelry and Rolexes while you’re literally mid-air is wild.At that level, you’re not just paying for a bigger seat, you’re paying for security and a sense that everything around you is handled. For something like this to happen, it just feels like a huge breakdown somewhere. You spend that kind of money to relax, not to land and realize you’ve been robbed at 35,000 feet. That’s the part that really makes it hit.”

Daiyaana Muhammad was last spotted at 2026 NFL Honors

Muhammad is a Los Angeles native. The couple was in California for the annual NFL Honors function in San Francisco. Their red-carpet appearance followed a disappointing 2025 season. The longtime model and registered nurse wore a gold silk sleeveless dress, while the 31-year-old offensive lineman chose an all-black suit with white accents.
