In the last episode, after getting blessings from Mahadev at a temple for Aarti’s wedding, Tulsi finds out that the groom and his family have asked for dowry. The December 25 episode starts with Aarti and Tulsi calling off the wedding. She also warns the groom’s family about their actions and says that she may involve the police.

As the whole debacle happens, Mihir is present nearby, watching over Tulsi. As he sees the groom’s family leave after their altercation with Tulsi, he also provides Aarti and her family with some comfort. He tells them that cancelling the wedding was the correct option and that they should not feel bad about it. Tulsi and Mihir are still unable to meet. Aarti tries to get them to meet as she wants to introduce Tulsi to the man who helped them understand that their decision is correct. However, when she turns back around, Mihir has already disappeared.
Mitali steals Vaishnavi’s design book
The scene shifts to Vaishnavi, who has been living with Tulsi, frantically searching for her design book. In the background, Mitali quietly runs away holding the very book in her hands. Vaishnavi ends up asking Mihir for help, who tells her that if he finds her book, he will make sure to return it to her. He even gives her his hotel access card for the same.
Ritik and Mitali’s altercation
A flashback plays on the screen showing exactly how Mitali stole the book. The woman had been pretending to pray to steal the design book. Ritik ends up finding out and expresses his disgust over her actions. He leaves in a car, asking for space, and ends up at a temple nearby. Praying to god, Ritik ends up calling himself a loser, and even goes to the extreme measure of asking god to end his life.
Tulsi provides Ritik support
Tulsi is also present at the same temple, and seeing him in so much trouble, she sends one of the girls who is always with her to help him. She makes the girl give him a laddoo in order to provide some reassurance. Eating the sweet delicacy, Ritik finds solace in the moment and remembers his mother.

The preview, which aired for today’s episode, shows a major turning point. Mihir announces that while he is willing to marry Noina once the divorce is finalised, he will never truly be hers.
