Allu Arjun and Lokesh Kanagaraj Join Forces for a Blockbuster at Rs 75 Crore |
Tollywood superstar Allu Arjun is said to be working with Tamil filmmaker Lokesh Kanagaraj. Although the official announcement regarding the project is yet to be made, reports suggest that it is said to be another high-budget film.As per a report by tracker Mukil Vardhanan, the film is tentatively titled ‘AA23’. It is also suggested that the shoot of the movie will begin in June or July 2026. Additionally, it is also reported that the director has been offered a massive Rs 75 crore for the film. This has made the project one of the most expensive director-actor collaborations in recent times. However, it must be added that there is no official confirmation yet.
Meeting Allu Arjun in Hyderabad
Earlier in December, the ‘Coolie’ director was also at the Hyderabad airport. As per a report by Dinamani, Lokesh Kanagaraj was in the city to meet Allu Arjun in person. It is said that he has liked the script and has given a “green light” to the project. The film is also expected to have a lot of action.
Allu Arjun’s upcoming film
Allu Arjun was last seen in the blockbuster film, ‘Pushpa 2: The Rule,’ directed by Sukumar. He is now working with ‘Jawan’ director Atlee on their upcoming mega sci-fi film, tentatively called ‘AA22xA6’. The film is said to be based on a parallel world. It stars Bollywood’s Deepika Padukone as the female lead. The makers have announced her involvement and she seems to be playing the role of a warrior. Rashmika Mandanna and Mrunal Thakur are also rumoured to be part of the cast.Meanwhile, Lokesh Kanagaraj last directed ‘Coolie’, starring Rajinikanth. The filmmaker is also preparing for his acting debut in ‘DC’, directed by Arun Matheswaran.
