The KKR spinner, who hails from Tamil Nadu, shared a photo with Vijay and posted a one-word message.Chakravarthy uploaded the picture on his Instagram stories, where Vijay is seen giving him a fist bump, and captioned it “Anna” along with a heart emoji.
Tamil Nadu witnessed a major political shake-up as “Thalapathy” Vijay made a dramatic entry into electoral politics. His party, Tamilaga Vettri Kazhagam (TVK), emerged as a disruptive force, cutting into the long-standing dominance of the Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam (DMK) and its arch-rival All India Anna Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam (AIADMK).Chakravarthy has had a mixed but largely impactful IPL 2026 campaign for Kolkata Knight Riders, showing his wicket-taking ability despite a few expensive outings.The mystery spinner has picked up 10 wickets in 7 matches so far.After going wicketless in his first three games, he produced a standout performance against Rajasthan Royals at Eden Gardens, returning exceptional figures of 3/14.
