ONGC Petro additions Limited (OPaL) has started the online registration process for Apprentice recruitment 2026 under the Apprentices Act, 1961. OPaL Apprentice recruitment 2026: Eligibility criteria
Educational qualification Candidates must have the required qualification for the post they are applying for, such as:
- Trade certificate in relevant ITI trade
- Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA)
- Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com)
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology (IT)
The qualification must be full-time and should be from a recognised institution. Distance learning, part-time, and correspondence mode qualifications will not be accepted. The essential qualification must have been completed in 2022 or later. Age limit
- Minimum age: 18 years
- Maximum age: 24 years
The age will be counted as on May 15, 2026. Candidates should be born between May 15, 2002 and May 15, 2008. Age relaxation:
- Scheduled Caste (SC) / Scheduled Tribe (ST): 5 years
- Other Backward Class (OBC-NCL): 3 years
- Persons with Benchmark Disabilities (PwBD): Additional relaxation as per rules
OPaL Apprentice recruitment 2026: Stipend details
Selected candidates will receive monthly stipend as follows:

OPaL has also clarified that the company will not provide accommodation. Apprentices will have to arrange their own stay.

Selection process
