Mumbai: BJP ex-MP Kirit Somaiya on Tuesday met Chief Election Commissioner S Chokhalingam and claimed he submitted evidence of a conspiracy to insert names of Bangladeshi citizens in the voter list.Somaiya later, addressing a press conference at the BJP state headquarters, alleged that in at least 30 assembly constituencies, including Dhule, Malegaon, Mumbra, Sambhajinagar East, Akola West, Amravati, Malvani Malad, Sillod, Bhiwandi, Raver and Chikhli, the names of Bangladeshis are being inserted in the voter list by submitting fake documents. “We have found 20,000 names in 10 assembly constituencies are duplicate and in many places the same names have been repeated in multiple places in the voter list,” he said.
