Rajeev Anjana, a tech professional, shared a gut-wrenching story on Instagram after Deloitte allegedly revoked his job offer post-interview success. He had resigned from his previous role and finished his notice period when an email from the Background Investigation Team arrived, stating a “discrepancy review” ended his employment.Anjana says, “It really hurts when you try your best, crack the Big 4, and finally get the offer, and then one morning, you see this.” He compared the pain to “hurts even more than a breakup,” already jobless after quitting.Anjana sought details from HR but hit a wall. He was told reasons were confidential despite clearing all rounds, lamenting, “I don’t understand what’s confidential about it. I cleared the interview, I passed all the rounds. If I was informed what the problem is, I could have helped resolve it.” He was warned against further contact and “blacklisted” from future applications, deepening the blow.
