The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has officially declared the Class 10 board examination results for 2026 today, April 15, 2026. The pass percentage for the result is 93.70 per cent. It will reflect steady academic performance across India and CBSE-affiliated schools abroad. The overall pass percentage of 93.70 per cent reflects a slight upward movement compared to 93.66 per cent in 2025, indicating a stable academic trend with incremental improvement. Education officials attributed this consistency to competency-based assessment reforms and curriculum rationalisation under NEP-aligned teaching frameworks.This year’s Class 10 examinations were conducted under a significantly expanded framework, covering 27,339 schools across India and 27 countries. A total of 24,71,777 students appeared for the examination, with over 1.63 crore answer sheets evaluated in record time. The board mentioned in the press release that the early declaration, nearly a month ahead of the usual mid-May schedule. was made possible due to large-scale digitisation and a streamlined evaluation process involving nearly 7 lakh evaluators.
