‘Anupamaa’ 11th April written update: Rahi breaks Anupama’s heart and pushes her away |
The 12th April episode of ‘Anupamaa’ opens with Anupama desperately calling Rahi and asking her to understand her situation. Anupama reminds Rahi that she knows her mother can never lie or betray her principles. She asks Rahi if she is standing by her side. She hopes Rahi will understand her point of view. But Rahi’s response shatters her completely. Rahi tells Anupama that without her, they are all much happier. She asks Anupama to go back to Salgonda and never return. Rahi says Anupama stood for the truth, but now she must stand by Prem because he is all alone. Rahi asks her not to come back. Anupama breaks down completely, feeling like she has lost her family once again for standing up for what is right.
Hasmuk becomes Anupama’s pillar of strength
Hasmuk asks Anupama why she keeps giving her love to children who never appreciate her or understand her. Anupama says that being a mother means she loses along the way, too. She shares that Prerna and Prem are pinning all the blame on her, and now Rahi’s joining in, claiming they’re better off without her around.Anupama questions Hasmuk about what she is supposed to do and whether she is bad luck. He explains to Anupama that she was at a place where she had to do what was right. He says she actually saved Prem and Prerna from making a bigger mistake. Hasmuk tells her that it is all right that Prem is mad, Prerna is accusing her, and Rahi is suffering. He explains that as a mother, Anupama has given her children bitter medicine. He tells her they don’t understand now, but they will realize soon. Anupama says she will go back. Hasmuk asks her where she will go. Anupama admits she is completely lost. Hasmuk invites her to have tea with him. Anupama hugs Hasmuk, finding comfort in his words
Prem pushes everyone away
Prerna tells Prem not to be sad because she will support him no matter what. Prem ignores Rahi’s call completely. Prerna tells Prem that because of Anupama, they faced a setback, but they can reapply for the license again. Prem says they can get the license back, but they can never get back the lost confidence he had. He becomes angry and says he came here looking for peace, not for motivational speeches. Prerna assures Prem that she won’t question him about what happened and will just stand by him silently.
Anupama’s struggles at home
Anupama feels terrible that she can’t give Jaya a good life. Jaya asks Anupama if she cries at home every day. Anupama says she cries when problems become too much to handle. Jaya says there were problems in Salgonda, too, but she never cried there. Anupama says that here, everyone feels like family to her. Jaya misses Salgonda badly and demands that Anupama take her back. She prays to Lord Krishna to answer Anupama’s prayers.Ansh tells Anupama that he has missed her smile very much. Anupama asks what is troubling him. Ansh says he is trying to apply for jobs, but he doesn’t meet their expectations. Anupama encourages him to keep applying and gives him her blessings.
A new opportunity emerges
Anupama finds a pamphlet for a food carnival competition. She learns that only people who own a café or restaurant can participate and have a chance to win a huge prize and the opportunity to open their own restaurant in London. Anupama thinks that if she were still running Anu Ki Rasoi, she could have taken part in this competition.Rahi tries to talk to Prem, but he keeps avoiding her. Rahi pleads with Prem to share his worries and pain with her so that both of them don’t suffer separately. Prem hugs Rahi. Rahi skips her important work just to be with Prem. Prem holds her tightly. Rahi asks Prem if she can check on Pranshi. Prem tells her to go and asks her to stop pretending that she feels sorry for him. Rahi tries to make him understand, but Prem walks away from her.
Mahi finds her own path
Mahi asks Anupama not to go back to Salgonda. Anupama tells Mahi that she will always be there for her no matter what. She asks Mahi what she has decided about her life. Mahi tells Anupama that she will get a divorce from Gautam and build her own jewelry brand. Anupama tells Mahi that Kavya was like her, passionate and independent. She motivates Mahi to work hard and achieve her dreams. Paritosh criticizes Anupama for encouraging Mahi, saying she is already spoiled.Precap: Anupama thinks that if Digvijay allows her to run Saavi’s café, she can participate in the food carnival competition. Digvijay feels like Saavi is trying to reach out to him. He calls Anupama and asks if she is Joshi ben. Anupama tells him the truth. Digvijay reveals to Anupama that he is planning to reopen Saavi’s café.
