‘Anupamaa’ written update 30th March: Anupama beats Paul as Ranvijay’s goons attack Digvijay’s house |
‘Anupamaa’ opens with Digvijay demanding that Banku bring him a laptop charger. Banku arrives with food instead, telling him Anupama made it. Digvijay says he is not hungry. Bose steps in, tells Digvijay he cannot expect Banku to work all day and eat nothing himself, and firmly makes him eat. Digvijay takes a bite and cannot deny that it is good. Then Saavi’s video starts playing, and in it she speaks about someone she calls Joshi Ben, describing her as an inspiration. Digvijay plays another video, and the three of them listen closely. Banku says the voice sounds like Anupama’s. Bose agrees but the face is not visible. Digvijay sits quietly, wondering whether Saavi’s greatest inspiration was the woman now living under his roof.
A suspicion grows
Anupama, unaware of what is being discovered at the house, is thinking about Paul and Rossi and deciding that fighting them directly is not the answer right now. She plans to focus on serving food to old age homes and keeps her head down. She looks at Saavi’s kitchen and thinks about how beautiful it is and what she could do with it if Digvijay ever gave her the chance. Digvijay, meanwhile, plays the video again. The possibility is taking shape in his mind that Joshi Ben, the woman his daughter admired most, might be Anupama.
Goons at Digvijay’s house
While this is unfolding, a group of goons arrive at Digvijay’s house. Banku confronts them and refuses to call Digvijay when they demand it. They beat him. Digvijay comes out and saves Banku. The goons deliver their message: it is from Ranvijay. The threat is clear.
Hasmuk and Leela ‘s podcast trouble
At the Shah house, Hasmuk and Leela are preparing for a podcast when Ishani tells them their YouTube channel has been reported by Chandrika. Leela had insulted her at some point, and Chandrika had retaliated by speaking against the podcast and turning fans against it. The channel cannot post any videos until the matter is resolved.
Gautam tightens his grip on Paritosh
Gautam asks Paritosh why Mahi is still at the Shah house and tells him he is letting her win. He gives Paritosh ten days to sort it out and suggests troubling Mahi at the office as well. Paritosh, already fed up, agrees. Gautam’s calculation is cold and deliberate.
Anupama takes on Paul
Paul finds Anupama on the road and blocks her path. He throws her food on the ground. He tells her she is making a mistake by staying in his city and calls her an outsider. He pushes her cycle, and she falls. Then he makes the mistake of bringing Jaya into it, suggesting that Jaya go to school and could find herself in trouble because of her mother.Anupama gets up and beats Paul without hesitation. She tells him that God wrote her fate to be Goddess Durga even in a peaceful place and that no one can save him from her wrath when she has been pushed this far. She invokes the Constitution, telling him that no Indian is a stranger anywhere in their own country, whether travelling from Delhi to Arunachal or from Goa to Gujarat. She asks him who he is to call her an outsider and tells him to respect the law. She speaks about vocal for local with the passion of someone who means every word.Paul apologises. Anupama is not done. She asks him to apologise to the food he disrespected, to Jaya, and to her for everything he put them through. He does. She tells him she is leaving with her dignity intact and asks him to let her live in peace. She warns him that if she ever lets go of that decency, he will not be able to handle what follows. She tells him never to take Jaya’s name again and vows to make her place in Salgonda on her own terms.Precap: Rossi tricks Jaya by telling her Anupama has been in an accident and locks her in a room. Jaya cries for help. Anupama, filled with regret over the confrontation with Paul, demands that he return Jaya and says he can punish her instead. Paul claims he knows nothing about it.
