‘An easy target’: IAS officer Neha Marvya Singh flags 4th transfer in a year | Bhopal News
BHOPAL: A 2011-batch IAS officer, Neha Marvya Singh, has expressed her displeasure over her frequent transfers, saying she was left “very demotivated” after being moved again just 50 days into her previous posting.Singh was among the officers transferred in the reshuffle issued by the state government on September 5.She was left with the charge of managing director of the Scheduled Tribe Finance Development Corporation, moving from her post as director, Tribal Area Development and Planning.In a message shared in an IAS officers’ social media group, Singh said the latest transfer was her fourth in the past year.

She questioned the frequent changes in her postings and said the latest move had left her deeply disappointed.Singh alleged that some employees in her department had created an atmosphere of rebellion against her and had threatened to have her transferred.She said she respected every government order as an IAS officer and had always discharged her responsibilities with complete dedication wherever she was posted.However, she said she was “very demotivated” by the action taken this time.Her post drew reactions from former IAS officers, several of whom shared their own experiences of frequent transfers and service-related challenges.Few termed it as part of service.Singh has also been in the news in the past over differences with senior officials.
