NEET PG admit card 2026: The National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences (NBEMS) is scheduled to release the NEET PG 2026 admit card tomorrow, August 27, 2026, according to the latest notice displayed on the official NBE website. Registered candidates will be able to access their hall tickets through the designated NBEMS portal using their applicant login credentials.The NEET PG 2026 examination is scheduled for August 30, 2026, in a single shift from 9:00 AM to 12:30 PM. Candidates must download and print the admit card and carry it to the examination centre along with a valid government-issued photo identity proof.NEET PG 2026 exam to have 180 questionsThe NEET PG 2026 examination will comprise 180 multiple-choice questions, compared with 200 questions in previous examination cycles. Candidates will get 210 minutes, or three and a half hours, to complete the computer-based test (CBT).The paper will have five time-bound sections, with 36 questions in each section. Candidates will get 42 minutes for every section and cannot return to a section once its allotted time has ended.The marking scheme will award four marks for every correct answer, while one mark will be deducted for an incorrect response. The examination will be conducted across India in a single shift.NEET PG admit card release schedule changedThe examination timeline has undergone changes before the admit card release. NBEMS issued test city intimation slips to registered candidates on August 12, 2026.The admit card was initially scheduled for August 27, before the release schedule was advanced to August 24 and subsequently deferred by 24 hours. The same date is the cut-off for completion of the internship for eligibility.NEET PG counselling is expected to begin in September or October 2026 through the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC). The counselling is expected to include Round 1, Round 2, Mop-up Round and Stray Vacancy Round. MCC will conduct counselling for 50% All India Quota (AIQ) seats, while respective state authorities will handle the 50% State Quota seats.
