Along with the image, he wrote, “A candid moment between the two greats, @arrahman sir and Asha ji, from what turned out to be her last ever recording. Ever. Beyond her artistry, she had an unmatchable charm and spirit. Fun fact, incidentally, she reminded us that she recorded for Rangeela the same day, same month, but three decades ago! Earlier, on World Music Day in June this year, AR Rahman had shared a glimpse of a special tribute song featuring Asha Bhosle. Sharing the teaser, he wrote, “On this World Music Day, we celebrate a voice that has transcended generations, languages, and borders. This tribute began as a dream while Asha Bhosle ji was still with us. We had hoped she would witness the love and gratitude this project carries.”He concluded his note by saying, “We hope you all receive it with the same love with which it was created.”
