AMRITSAR: Nihang Jasdeep Singh, who came into the spotlight following a confrontation in Uttarakhand’s Chamoli district, after which he led protests and a standoff at the state border, and amid the surfacing of obscene photos, on Saturday threatened to die by suicide during a live social media broadcast if justice was not delivered to him.In a post uploaded on social media, Jasdeep claimed that nine days had passed since he and his family were allegedly assaulted, during which he suffered a fracture in his left arm, but no actiaon had been taken against those responsible.He further claimed that unless his car was returned within 24 hours and action was initiated against the persons named in his complaint for allegedly assaulting him and his family, he would die by suicide during a live social media broadcast after the deadline.Jasdeep also held the Punjab Police and the persons named in his complaint responsible for any eventuality, according to his post.
