Shubhkaraan Bhopal: I’m not trying to replace Aman Gandhi, I’m taking Ritik’s journey forward

Shubhkaraan Bhopal is excited to join the cast of Kyunki Rishton Ke Bhi Roop Badalte Hain, stepping into the character of Ritik as he takes over from Aman Gandhi. This role is not only a chance for Bhopal to showcase his acting skills but also a pivotal moment in his career, allowing him to infuse his unique vision into Ritik’s storyline.

Actor Shubhkaraan Bhopal, best known for Pyaar Ki Raahein, has been roped in to play Ritik in Kyunki Rishton Ke Bhi Roop Badalte Hain, replacing Aman Gandhi. While stepping into an existing character comes with expectations, the actor says he is approaching the role with excitement, gratitude and a desire to make the character his own.“I’m feeling a mix of emotions right now. I’m very excited and, honestly, a little nervous too,” Shubhkaraan says. “Stepping into a new character always brings that rush. More than anything, I’m looking forward to giving my best as Ritik. It’s a role I’ve connected with deeply, and I really want to do justice to it. I hope the audience loves him as much as I do.”The actor admits comparisons are inevitable but insists he isn’t trying to recreate what his predecessor did.“I don’t see it as replacing Aman. He played the role really well and the audience loved him for it. For me, it’s about taking Ritik’s journey forward. I’d like to add my own layer to the character and bring something fresh to his graph. Every actor has their own interpretation, and I just want to stay true to mine while doing justice to the role.”Being part of the Kyunki universe is a milestone in itself, he adds.“Joining the spin-off of such an iconic show means a lot to me. Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi has been part of so many people’s lives, and becoming a part of its new chapter feels very special. As Shubhkaraan playing Ritik, I just want to give my best and hope the audience accepts me with the same love.”Shubhkaraan also believes the show could prove to be a significant step in his career.“It’s a big show with an incredible legacy and loyal audience. As an actor, I feel this role will help me gain more recognition and establish my name in the industry. My only focus right now is to do full justice to Ritik. If I can connect with the audience through this character, that will mean everything to me.”
