Nivin Pauly and Mamitha Baiju will be seen in the upcoming Malayalam film, ‘Bethlehem Kudumba Unit’. Recently, the makers announced the official theatrical release date of the film directed by Girish AD.
‘Bethlehem Kudumba Unit’ gets a release date
Sharing the poster, the maker revealed that the film will be released on August 21, 2026. Nivin Pauly also shared the update on his social media handles. He wrote, “Bethlehem Kudumba Unit in theaters from 21st August 2026.” Bethlehem Kudumba Unit stars Nivin Pauly and Mamitha Baiju in the lead roles. The poster shows Nivin Pauly and Mamitha Baiju’s character walking side by side on a railway platform as railway tracks can be seen beside them. The image shows them in a lively conversation where Nivin Pauly can be seen lifting a handbag and Mimitha wearing a backpack.The story is written by director Girish AD along with Kiran Josey. The makers have already confirmed that the film will be a romantic story. The first look poster of the family entertainer was released last month and received a good response from movie lovers.
‘Bethlehem Kudumba Unit’ went on floors last year
Nivin Pauly had announced the title of the film in July last year. At that time, he wrote, “This one’s for you! Bethlehem Kudumba Unit. Teaming up with Girish AD and Mamitha Baiju. A Bhavana Studios production.” The shooting of the film began in September last year. Nivin had also described the project as “very special.”

The cinematography of Bethlehem Kudumba Unit is handled by Ajmal Sabu, while Vishnu Vijay has composed the music. Akash Joseph Varghese is the editor, and the film will be distributed by Bhavana.Apart from ‘Bethlehem Kudumba Unit’, Nivin Pauly has several films in the pipeline. One of them is the Tamil action film Benz, in which he will be seen playing the main antagonist. Meanwhile, Mamitha Baiju will be next seen on the big screens with Vijay’s ‘Jana Nayagan’ set to release on July 23.
