Vinny Arora: ‘The real loser is you’: Dheeraj Dhoopar’s wife Vinny Arora slams Shreya Kalra over her Lock Upp 2 game strategy
Lock Upp 2 has been winning hearts since the very start, with fans supporting their favourites. Recently, a fight between Shreya Kalra and Dheeraj Dhoopar went viral on social media. Dheeraj’s wife, actress Vinny Arora, has now publicly defended her husband and taken a strong dig at Shreya Kalra. Reacting to Shreya’s gameplay and her repeated confrontations with Dheeraj, Vinny shared a YouTube video accusing the reality star of chasing attention, betraying friendships, and deliberately provoking contestants for screen time.Questioning Shreya’s approach to the game, Vinny didn’t hold back. “Is it just me or does Shreya seriously need therapy? What is actually wrong with her? Who advised her to enter the show, fight with everyone, create drama, and think she’ll win the show?” she asked. She further said, “This isn’t Splitsvilla. This is Lock Upp. You should have entered the show with a clean slate instead of carrying old grudges inside.”Vinny also referred to Shreya revealing Akanksha Chamola’s personal secret inside the house and questioned her actions. “What kind of pure soul reveals a friend’s secret? If someone trusted me with something personal, that secret would go to the grave with me,” she said, adding that such actions don’t reflect the image Shreya’s supporters claim she has.The actress also added, “You’re constantly character-assassinating people, provoking them, talking about their backgrounds, and then, when they react, you call them names. You’re only making yourself look like a fool.” She then alleged that Shreya’s recent fights were motivated by the need to stay relevant in the game.Talking about Shreya’s fight with Dheeraj, she said, “You’re calling him ‘loser, loser, loser.’ The real loser is you. You couldn’t even accept the fact that you were nominated yesterday. Instead, you thought, ‘Let me do what I do best, pick a fight, say something nasty, and get some screen time.’”Vinny continued, “Congratulations, you got your screen time. But that’s not how you win a reality show. You win shows by winning hearts and performing well in tasks, not by chasing temporary attention.”Responding to fans who claimed Dheeraj benefitted from his clashes with Shreya, Vinny dismissed the argument outright.“Meanwhile, your fans are trying to tell me that Dheeraj should be grateful because Shreya gave him screen time in Lock Upp. Otherwise, apparently, nobody would’ve noticed him. Seriously?”She went on to defend her husband’s career, saying, “Dheeraj has had hours and hours of screen time throughout his career. He’s not desperate for attention the way Shreya seems to be. If anything, Shreya should consider herself lucky that Dheeraj even gave her five minutes of attention.”Vinny also rejected criticism that Dheeraj wasn’t active enough inside the reality show.“Lock Upp is just a show; it is not life. Just because someone isn’t constantly fighting doesn’t mean they’re doing nothing. Visibility inside the house doesn’t define success outside it.” Addressing the much-discussed moment when Dheeraj showed Shreya the middle finger, Vinny defended his reaction.“He observed, tolerated, and stayed quiet for days. He asked her to stop, but she didn’t. Thank God all he did was show the mid*le finger. If he had stooped to her level and actually argued with her, she would’ve been completely destroyed.”Ending her statement with a warning about karma, Vinny said, “Karma is a bi*ch. If you hurt people, eventually you’ll get hurt too.”She also had high praise for her husband, saying, “Dheeraj Dhoopar is the Shah Rukh Khan of television. He’ll never say it himself because he’s too humble, but just because he doesn’t call himself a superstar doesn’t mean he isn’t one.” Vinny’s remarks have since gone viral on social media, with fans weighing in on her defence of Dheeraj and her sharp criticism of Shreya’s game strategy. The ongoing rivalry between Dheeraj and Shreya continues to be one of the biggest talking points of Lock Upp 2.
