Priyank Sharma dismisses rumours of joining Lock Upp 2; says, ‘My journey ended 8 years ago’
Actor and television personality Priyank Sharma has put an end to rumours suggesting that he will be participating in the second season of Lock Upp. Taking to Instagram, Priyank shared a note clarifying that he is not a part of any reality show and has no plans to return to the format.Addressing the speculation, he wrote, “So here’s a quick clarification for the media houses and people who are trying to circulate a fake speculation of me being a part of any reality show. This journey ended back in 2017, which is like 8 years ago. Since then, I have focused on my craft and polished my acting and dancing skills so I can come entertain all of you.”The actor further revealed that he is now focused on scripted projects and live performances. “Now the only time you will see me is going to be either on a web show, a film, or me performing on a stage. Happy Sunday and Happy Father’s Day,” he concluded.Priyank became a popular face on television through reality shows such as Splitsvilla 10 and Roadies Rising (Season 14). He has also appeared in shows like Pyaar Tune Kya Kiya. Over the years, he has shifted his focus towards acting and dance, moving away from the reality television space.With his latest statement, Priyank has made it clear that reports linking him to Lock Upp 2 are unfounded. Moreover, celebrities reportedly finalised for the show are Niti Taylor, Nikhil Chinapa, Mini Mathur, Zaid Darbar and Awez Darbar, Kushal Tandon, Ruhee Dosani, Daisy Shah.
