According to Sacnilk, ‘Karuppu’ collected Rs 5.90 crore net on Day 17. The latest figure reflects a 14.6 percent rise compared to Day 16 earnings of Rs 5.15 crore.

Karnataka brought in Rs 40 lakhs. Kerala contributed Rs 18 lakhs while other regions added Rs 5 lakhs.The Tamil version continued to dominate collections. It contributed Rs 5.20 crore with 39 percent occupancy across 2,353 shows.The Telugu version added Rs 70 lakhs from 974 shows and recorded 19 percent occupancy. The Tamil version registered an overall occupancy of 43.53 percent. Evening shows performed best with 56.62 percent occupancy.
